![]() ![]() ![]() Oh what peace to be found in you Mighty, merciful Father. Your love is endless and everlasting The joy of you Father knows no bounds You are the first, the last, the in between. We can trust in you like no other Still my mind Lord And help me listen with the ear of my heart To your kind, loving call. You reside only in beauty Let that be my dwelling place.. The cradle of your caring arms. Thank you Lord for loving me For holding me close and never letting me go. In you Lord I find my peace and Joy In you alone Lord I love and trust. Thank you Lord for loving me x Lowri Foxhill Retreat Centre March 2022 Rev’d Nick Watson has been Area Dean of Manchester South and Stretford since June 2021, after parish, chaplaincy and training ministry in Durham, Derby and Lichfield dioceses. Nick became a Christian through the joint influence of a Franciscan chaplain and the university Christian Union, and has valued both catholic and evangelical traditions of prayer and faith ever since. He also values his Northumbrian roots, and draws on traditions of prayer associated with the modern revival and interpretation of the ‘Lindisfarne’ tradition of Christian faith and practice.
Nick is a musician and very occasional artist. He is married to Joanna, with three adult children now scattered around England and Wales.
During this retreat, Nick introduced us to several ways to enrich our experience of prayer, and was available for individual conversations about prayer and discipleship.
