Mothering Sunday 2021

On Mothering Sunday (Mother’s Day) we give thanks for those who Mother us, for those who today and in years gone by have given themselves to and for us. For those who have made sacrifices so that we might enjoy life. In many communities now, only to say thank you to Mums, is to ignore all those who care for us. In families across our our land, grandparents, aunties, uncles, fathers, foster parents and social services carers provide motherly love and care to many children. This is a day when we celebrate all who have and do provide motherly care.

.Our Church will be open for our 10 a.m. Eucharist Service on Sunday and also there is a childrens church at home zoom service with Mothering Sunday song, prayers and activities at 3 p.m. Please contact us for details

Mothering Sunday Service

We are pleased to announce that Revd Lady Denise Brown will be leading the service to mark Mothering Sunday. The service will be streaming live on our Facebook and YouTube channels at 10:00am on Sunday 14th March.

The Childrens Society have a wonderful resource for us all to delve into in our own time and an opportunity to support them.
